Creatures & Monsters

Why are mythical creatures such an important aspect of almost every culture? If monsters aren't real, why are creatures like dragons so integral to Chinese identity? In this unit students consider these questions while creating their own imaginary beings and imbuing them with life with their own characteristics and mythologies.
