Quarantine photography

We began the 2021 school year with two weeks in quarantine with all my students little pixels on a screen. Due to the pandemic it has been important to remain as flexible as possible when teaching your units and changes in plan are inevitable. To get my students moving around rather than sitting at their desks all day I asked them to take black and white photographs that helped them express their emotions. The results were interesting. Students photographed clocks, walls and cages, which they said were perfect representations of what it felt like to be home all day.
